Live on Zoom, in small groups of ten. Every child speaks, every single session.
It isn't shyness, and they don't grow out of it. Speaking up is a skill — and no school has a class for it. We've taught that skill to 500+ kids over 25 years, and now we teach it live on Zoom in groups of ten.

Sound familiar?
None of this is your child's personality. It's a skill nobody has taught them yet — and school doesn't have a class for it. Confidence isn't something a child is born with. It's built, one turn at the microphone at a time.
Success isn't just academics anymore. It's whether a child can put down the device, look someone in the eye, and hold a real conversation for five minutes. That's the gap we're closing. Taruna RamaniFounder, NJ Power Speakers · 2× TEDx Speaker & TEDx Speaker Coach
You are not the first parent to notice this
"We absolutely love Power Speakers. My daughter went from a shy girl to an absolutely amazing speaker and refuses to miss a single session of her classes here."
"Power Speakers has made my son a confident & effective speaker both in person & online. We also see a great improvement in his vocab & writing skills."
"My son has gained a lot of confidence with the Powerspeakers coaching. The online coach would not only critique him and his peers in the session but also give helpful pointers and guidance of how to improve a weakness."
"My kids all attending power speakers including my 5 year old. Amazing hearing my little one using the wow words in everyday conversations and the confidence the kids have speaking unrehearsed in front of an audience!"
"Taruna did a wonderful job engaging my 6th and 7th grade students over Zoom... Her tips and tricks for public speaking were very helpful. These are life long, valuable skills."
"She was engaging and provided great insight to help students write scripts for their contest. I highly recommend her as she is very knowledgeable and can engage an audience of 40 7th graders via Zoom — not an easy task!"
How we close it
Not a lecture with a chat box. A small, live room where every child is expected to speak — and gets coached on it while it's still fresh.
One coach, ten kids. That ratio is the whole reason this works — everyone gets a turn at the mic every week, and the coach knows each child by name and by what they're working on.
Kids don't build confidence by listening. They build it by doing, repeatedly, somewhere it's safe to be bad at it first. Our sessions are designed to be fun — that's why kids ask to come back.
Your child's week is already full. All the practice happens in class, so one hour is the entire commitment and nobody is arguing about a worksheet on Sunday night.
A second grader is never sitting through a high school debate drill, and a tenth grader is never bored. Each program is written for the age in the room.
182 Google reviews from families, plus teachers, competition judges and school FBLA advisors who've brought us in. Read them before you decide — that's what they're for.
Founded and led by a two-time TEDx speaker and TEDx speaker coach, with teachers who've run these rooms for years. Not a franchise, not a script.
Why the virtual batch works
Let's deal with the worry you're already having: will an online class actually hold my child's attention? Ours does — because it's built the opposite way to every online class that bored your child before. In a room of thirty, a quiet kid can go an entire term without speaking. In a batch of ten with the cameras on, that is impossible.
No drive, no drop-off, no sitting in a parking lot. Your child logs on, class runs, your weeknight stays intact.
Families who moved away, families nowhere near New Jersey, families with a packed sports schedule — same coaches, same standard. Travel for a few weeks and your child keeps their place in the batch.
Interviews, college conversations and most debate circuits now happen on video. Practising there isn't second best — it's where they'll actually have to perform.
Four programs, K through 12
Each program has its own curriculum, its own pace and its own kind of fun. All four run live on Zoom, one hour a week, capped at ten students.
Our youngest speakers. Built around story building and creative drama, so a five-year-old learns to stand up and be heard without ever being put on the spot.
Where kids learn there's more than one way to give a speech. They pick up the tools to build a real argument and take their first turns in group discussion and debate.
Speeches stop being about topics and start being about the world. Students take on current issues through persuasive speech and debate, and earn their yearly certification.
Our most demanding program. Advanced speech, competitive debate, and a project-based leadership and negotiations track — the one our national-level competitors came up through. Its alumni are now at Berkeley, Cornell, NYU and Georgia Tech.
Not sure which one fits? Tell us your child's grade on the form and we'll place them — and we'll say so if we think a different program is the better start.

What changes
Parents don't tell us their child learned a speech structure. They tell us what changed in the car, at dinner, at school.
The hand goes up. They volunteer to present. They stop shrinking when a room turns to look at them.
A complete thought, out loud, in order. Fewer "ums," fewer trailing sentences, a point that actually lands.
Parents keep telling us the same thing: their child starts using words at the dinner table that they weren't using last month.
Speech writing is thinking made visible. Better essays and clearer arguments show up as a side effect.
Not the absence of nerves — the ability to speak anyway. That's the skill that carries into interviews and auditions.
The most repeated line in our reviews isn't about awards. It's that their child looks forward to class and won't miss one.
Ten seats, one hour a week, no homework. Classes begin October 1, 2026. Register now and we'll send the schedule, the Zoom link, and everything your child needs before day one.

Good to know
None. Every bit of practice happens inside the hour. That's deliberate — a child who dreads the work stops showing up, and showing up is the whole thing.
Ten, maximum. It's the number that lets every child speak every week and still get real coaching on it.
The quiet one is who this is built for. Nobody is put on the spot in week one — we start with games and short turns and build from there. Our reviews are full of parents who were sure their child would refuse to go back.
By grade: KinderPrime for K–2, PrimePeak for 3–5, TweenSupreme for 6–8, TeenMax for 9–12. Tell us the grade on the form and we'll confirm the placement.
No. The virtual batch is open to families anywhere in the U.S. Class times are listed in Eastern time — tell us your time zone on the form and we'll confirm the fit before you commit.
A laptop or tablet with a working camera and microphone, a quiet spot, and room to stand up. Standing matters more than you'd think.
Yes. If your kids fall in different programs they'll each join the one built for their age. Register them one at a time and we'll sort out the scheduling.
